Janardan Malav is an experienced Executive Engineer with over four years of experience in both upstream and downstream oil & energy industries. He is skilled in Management, Aspen plus, VBA, Chemical Engineering, and strategic planning. Janardan is currently working as an Assistance Executive Engineer at ONGC, where he is responsible for keeping the production from oil wells intact and finding solutions to optimize production to its full potential. He is working in Wellhead operations of offshore platform MHN in Mumbai High Asset. Janardan has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) focused on Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. During his time at ONGC, he has contributed to increasing oil production by optimizing several oil wells and finding and removing bottlenecks causing the loss of oil production. Prior to his current role, Janardan worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Reliance in Central Technical Services of downstream units (PSA, CO Shift) of Gasification. He also worked in the Gasifier unit as a process engineer. Janardan also worked as a Summer Intern at Reliance, where he conducted a Design Study of Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit LPG Vaporizer. He discovered the possible causes of repeated failure of LPG Vaporizer when propane used as feed and recommended the action required to mitigate the major reliability issues. Janardan is a strong operations professional with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry. He has a keen interest in chemical engineering and is passionate about finding innovative solutions to optimize production and improve efficiency.
