Janki Akhani is an experienced Staff Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the internet industry. She is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, where she is leading the operational aspects to roll out Containerization project on Azkaban clusters. Janki is responsible for epic planning for multi-quarter work, sprint planning, identifying blockers, resolving dependencies within the team and outside the team, organizing and driving war rooms during release time, managing and reassigning tasks based on everyone’s plate to meet the deadline, providing support to teammates whenever they are stuck, and raising the risks for the release. Janki has a strong background in Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Python, Apache Spark, Azkaban, and Jupyter Notebook. She has a Master’s Degree focused on Computer Science from DAIICT. At Cleartrip, Janki worked on CHMM module, Extranet API, Pay@Hotel feature, and Hold booking feature, where she used Memcache, Spring framework, and RESTful web services. She is a skilled engineer with a strong focus on security aspects of the design, execution of the project, and communication with various teams.
