Jasbir Singh is a proactive Data Engineer with a passion for working on large-scale projects. With over 2.87 years of experience in the field, Jasbir is currently working as an SDE II - Data Engineer at Dream11, where he handles billions of events every day. He has experience in building ETLs and internal tools around data, making him a versatile developer. Jasbir has worked with Kafka, Connect, and Consumer services to streamline data ingestion, building tools to improve ETL pipelines' process. He has also created a framework to implement event standardization across teams and written Spark jobs for processing large amounts of daily data. Jasbir's experience also includes working as an SDE I - Data Engineer at Dream11, where he honed his skills in data engineering. Before joining Dream11, Jasbir worked as a Software Engineer at Hike, where he created a web application called 'Data Quest' that allows teams to access data by writing natural language queries. He also built a voice data tool to record and validate audio data, enabling the ML team to train voice models using WebRTC and Nodejs. Jasbir worked on creating an internal console at Hike to simplify product workflows. Jasbir holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from G.B. Pant Govt. Engineering College, where he studied from 2016 to 2020. He also attended R.P.V.V Tyagraj Nagar from 2002 to 2015. Apart from his professional life, Jasbir is an avid anime watcher and a low-key IGL for E-sports.
