Jaskaran Rana is a software engineer with a passion for entrepreneurship, product management, and web development. With over 8 years of experience, he has built consumer products from the ground up and has a keen eye for new business strategies. Currently, Jaskaran is the Founder of GigHub, India's nightlife guide, aimed at helping users discover upcoming music events in India. He has independently developed and runs the platform, which is built using Django and Python. In the past, Jaskaran has worked as the Development & Technology Lead at CommonTime Online, where he built an online platform that provides global access to the arts. He has also worked as the Product & Technology Lead at boxout.fm, an online radio based out of New Delhi, where he rebuilt their website backend and migrated their website from Wordpress to Django. Jaskaran holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information and Communication Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology. He also completed his high school education from D.A.V Public School, Amritsar. Jaskaran's tech stack includes web development, Django, Python, product management, software engineering, iOS, mobile development, and backend development. He is a startup enthusiast who is passionate about technology, music, travel, and photography. With his relevant experience of 8.36 years, Jaskaran is an asset to any team he works with.
