Jasmine Hazarika is a Senior Manager at Tata Cummins Private Limited with extensive experience in Quality operations and activities. She is a Marketing enthusiast and holds a PGDM degree from Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi. Jasmine has a strong technical background with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi. Jasmine's current role involves directing quality operations and activities at the Mega-site of Tata Cummins across plants for engine assembly. She is responsible for administering engine assembly life-cycle from procurement of Bought Out Finished parts to delivery of Engines. She strategizes and executes visits to suppliers to drive partner engagement and adheres to compliance of quality conformance, receiving stakeholder feedback, and formulating reports of the same to higher management of any requirements regarding design/performance/quality/packaging related issues. She also provides the leadership connect, monthly interaction meetings, and focus group discussions at Plant level. Jasmine steers the performance management cycle by ensuring timely goal setting, feedback, and assessment process for Supplier Quality Assurance regular employees located across 2 plants at Phaltan Mega-site. She collects nominations, organizes and coordinates training related activities as per training calendar, and prepares & delivers presentations to sensitize employees on Quality issues & Corrective Actions. Jasmine liaisons with stakeholders for management and smooth functioning of the assembly line. She finds problem-solving techniques for current quality issues at Tata Cummins Ltd and ensures continuous improvement of quality through monitoring and regular feedback. Jasmine is also responsible for the execution of new projects in supplier quality assurance for TCL plants. Before joining Tata Cummins, Jasmine worked as a Technical Analyst at Oracle, where she received a spot award in the first year for excellent performance. She worked directly with clients having revenue of more than $10bn of Oracle's million-dollar Exadata Database machine. Jasmine worked on technologies like Oracle DB 11g and 12c, golden gate, RMAN to resolve bugs and to reduce database downtime. She led a team of 6 cross-functional experts in the Database server domain to resolve the critical database down issue at HDFC. Jasmine developed a log parsing tool to extract useful data from GBs of log files, improving the efficiency of the team by 20%. She achieved a 2 level Oracle Certified Professional certification within a year of joining Oracle, the first engineer of the team to do so.
