Jasmine Rose is an accomplished Software Engineer with almost 4 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as a Resident Alumni at hack.diversity, Jasmine is one of the four peer leaders responsible for guiding and mentoring the largest-ever Hack.Diversity fellowship class of 100 fellows. Jasmine's previous experience includes working as a Software Engineer Intern at notarize, where she built an end-to-end internal tool that the customer support team uses to troubleshoot the processing of remote online notarization meetings. She also maintained features on various portal accounts using Ruby/Rails, React, Typescript, and Javascript. Jasmine's contributions were not limited to her technical skills as she gave an internal talk on racial inclusion in the workplace, which is now adopted as a diversity training tool for all new hires. As the first SWE intern, she informed the documentation of a potential tech learning curriculum for any possible future interns. Jasmine's experience also includes working as a Software Engineer at embark veterinary, where she developed better UI/UX for internal tooling, particularly administration tools for Customer Support. She built Metabase dashboards using PostgresQL that reduced Customer Support investigation time by 50% and wrote unit tests using Jest to reduce bug errors. Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and has a strong tech stack that includes Ruby, Javascript, Typescript, and UI development. Her experience in software engineering and leadership roles makes her an asset to any team.
