Jason Chan is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently employed at Carrot Inc. where he has been instrumental in developing the Android version of Pivot Journey, a smoking cessation app. He has also worked closely with the hardware team to connect the app to Bluetooth-enabled breath sensors. Jason's expertise in mobile API led him to spearhead the Mobile API project, creating a Ktor middleman server for interfacing communication between the mobile apps and their backend infrastructure. His exceptional skills earned him the Senior title in January 2020. Prior to joining Carrot Inc., Jason worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Groundtruth where he created and maintained multiple full-stack web applications. He was also awarded the Senior title in June 2018.
