Jason Ganub is a problem solver with a passion for software and data. He is a Tibetan-American expat living in Indonesia and currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Sinarmas Quantum Engine. Jason has over 9 years of relevant experience in the industry and has worked with a wide range of languages including Golang, Clojure, Ruby on Rails, Python, SQL, HTML, and CSS. He is also well-versed in data stores such as Postgres, Redis, and RabbitMQ. Jason has a strong background in automation and has worked with tools such as Ansible (CI/CD), Terraform, Chef, and Selenium. He is also experienced in metrics tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, and New Relic. Additionally, he has worked with HAProxy and Kafka. Currently, Jason is working as a Lead Engineer at Gojek and is responsible for launching Transport's Instant Gojek, Growth experiments, and Scheduled Ride with GoClub. Prior to this, he worked as a Product Engineer at Gojek and was responsible for developing and launching Kafka-based Driver Statistics V1 micro-service. He also worked with the Instant Gojek team, where he led the Instant backend service for improvements and scaling new locations. Before joining Gojek, Jason worked as a Founding Engineer at Jago Coffee, where he built the backend infrastructure, order management system, and payment gateway integration with Midtrans using Firebase as the datastore. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Information Systems from Oregon State University and has also received a Study Abroad Scholarship from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. With a strong tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, SQL, Ansible, Terraform, New Relic, Ruby, Selenium, Kafka, CI/CD, Redis, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Backend, Integration, Mobile, Infra, Clojure, Software Engineer, Python, Golang, and Microservices, Jason is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
