Jason Lewis is a seasoned Engineering Leader with over 21 years of experience in the technology and media industry. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager for Account and Security Experiences at Netflix, where he is responsible for orchestrating and securing customer-facing identity-based experiences for Netflix's 220+ million users across all platforms. Jason is passionate about the interplay between art and science, technology and media, and building teams to achieve things that no one has done before. Jason has broad experience leading, architecting, and implementing software engineering solutions. He specializes in Production Technology, Machine Learning/AI, Leadership, Management, Software Engineering, Web Video, Flash Development, Documentary Filmmaking, Motion Graphics, Publication Design, and Photography. He has international experience in the U.S., Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Jason is currently hiring Senior Software Engineers in Mexico (CDMX & Remote). He has the ability to work under pressure and deliver projects on time and on target. He is a leader, innovator, evangelist, software engineer, and multimedia producer. He is passionate about emerging technology and taking V1 projects from 'blue-sky' R&D to 'production'. Prior to Netflix, Jason worked as an Engineering Manager for Studio Engineering at Netflix. He developed software to automate the Netflix Studio's content productions from script to screen. He also worked as a Sr. Manager Engineering for Content Technology at Disney, where he built next-generation solutions that deliver high-quality content experiences to guests and fans. He provided automation and tools for content creators and workflows at scale. He leveraged data and automation to generate highly personalized content media. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media Technology and an Associate’s Degree in Photography from Pacific Union College. He has a tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, Web, AI, ML, Backend, and Software Engineer.
