Jason Rose is an experienced Software Engineer with over 15 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working at Plaid as a Software Engineer. Prior to this, he worked at Shutterfly Inc. where he was a Principal Software Engineer and Enterprise Architect. At Shutterfly, Jason founded an enterprise engineering practice and worked with executive, product, and engineering stakeholders to build holistic visibility and break down silos. He created a principles and constraints framework to facilitate executive decision-making and developed and iterated on an enterprise architecture engagement model for strategic initiative oversight. Jason also modeled and improved the engineering organization's maturity in order to adopt daily release cadence. He proposed a cloud-native service and frontend framework to improve ecommerce site performance metrics. Jason also improved Python and JS code with typecheckers, custom linting, CI sanitization, and dependency updates. He reduced time spent in CI pipelines to reduce iteration time.
