Jason Silberman is a highly skilled web and iOS designer/developer with experience in creating fast and user-friendly web applications using technologies such as React and GraphQL, as well as immersive iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and now SwiftUI. He is currently studying Computer Science and Business Administration at the University of Southern California, where he has been able to hone his skills and knowledge in the field. With 3.78 years of relevant experience, Jason has worked independently and for contracted clients, delivering high-quality work that meets the needs of his clients. He is skilled at acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical team members, fostering cohesive and productive teams. Currently, Jason is working as a Software Engineering Intern at Stripe, where he has designed and built a custom video playing experience using React in the Stripe docs, while meeting high accessibility and security standards. He has also architected data structures for modeling videos in the docs by integrating concerns from different stakeholders: engineers, designers, and tech writers. Additionally, Jason has built underlying infrastructure across Ruby and Node services that will be the backbone of videos functionality across all future Stripe Docs. In the past, Jason has worked as the Head of iOS Development at SoundMind, where he led two teams developing iOS applications targeted at helping veterans, PTSD survivors, and people struggling with trauma and mental health. He has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Salesforce, where he created a Typescript diagnostics framework for improving error and warning messages and integrated the framework into Lightning Web Components, the primary web framework used internally and by ISVs on the Salesforce Platform. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Southern California, which he is set to complete in December 2022. He is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including iOS, Web, Research Scientist, designer, infra, Ruby, Swift, Mobile, Typescript, and Salesforce, and is committed to delivering top-notch work that meets the needs of his clients.
