Jatin Pandey is a highly motivated and passionate open source contributor and undergraduate from Delhi Technological University. He is currently pursuing a Major in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science. Jatin has a wide range of interests, from reading about state-of-the-art deep learning research to sports like MMA, cricket, and tennis. He loves to blog about his projects on deep learning and automation. Jatin's vision is to provide value to the open source community and deep learning community, regardless of whether it's related to the software realm, such as training frameworks for neural networks, or the hardware accelerator to increase training and prediction time. He is currently working as a Summer Intern and mentee at The Open Mainframe Project, where he is exploiting open source packages such as ONNX and ONNX-MLIR for The IBM Telum AI accelerator. His aim is to explore and create a python toolkit to simplify model conversion to ONNX and provide python APIs to use the ONNX-MLIR model compiler. In the past, Jatin has worked as a Web Content Writer at Medium, where he authored blogs focused on deep learning and computer architecture. The aim of his blogs was to help people understand some machine learning or programming concepts and applications better. He has also worked as an Open Source Developer at Metacall.io, where he worked on a CLI tool to deploy source code to the Metacall FaaS interface. Jatin's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE), which he will complete in 2023. He also has a High School degree in PCM with C++ from Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Civil Lines. Jatin's tech stack includes expertise in Deep Learning, Python, AI, Research Scientist, Neural Networks, Web, and ML.
