Jatin Thakkar is a Principal Software Engineer (MLOps) at Dell Technologies with over 12 years of relevant experience in the field of AI/ML enablement and AIOps. He holds a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the Great Learning Institute of Management (GLIM) and is a Sports Analytics enthusiast at heart. In his current role, Jatin supports data science teams across business units with big data platforms and infrastructure concerns, including Hadoop, Greenplum, VMs, GPU, Spark, Jupyter notebooks, R Studio, and Cloud-like experience. He evaluates and improvises on existing solution architectures for AI/ML applications from performance and cost efficiency point of view, and drives AIOps solutions for various IT applications, platforms, and services to drive autonomous incident management and reduce downtime. Jatin is also responsible for infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting dashboards using Splunk ITSI and Tableau, and database capacity management using AI Assistance. Prior to joining Dell, Jatin worked as a Senior Consultant at EY, providing applied Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning consultation as an in-house Data Scientist for leading Fortune 100 clients. He has hands-on experience in Python, Pandas, Sklearn, Pickle, Flask, Tensorflow, Deeplearning, Time series forecasting, Computer Vision, Data science pipeline software development, Parallel-processing through Hadoop and Spark ecosystem. Jatin also worked as an Apprentice Leader at Mu Sigma, where he served various Fortune 500 companies, driving consumer knowledge on Big data platforms. He has hands-on experience in R, Python with focus scikit-learn library, Spark, unsupervised segmentation, classification modelling, data engineering to introduce business-specific features as well as appropriate data ingestion and solutions pipelines, data quality management, fraud detection and augmented intelligence. Jatin holds a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics. He has also completed a Capstone project in Video Analytics from GLIM and JVMS New English School, Kalwa.
