Javid Jamae is a seasoned technology leader and Head of Growth Engineering at Postman, where he leads product-led growth and experimentation initiatives for software product companies. With over 21 years of relevant experience, Javid has helped build and coach several Agile teams and product initiatives for various organizations. Prior to his current role, Javid served as an Engineering Manager - Growth & Experimentation at Freedom Financial Network, where he led the development of the experimentation platform and helped teams optimize customer acquisition and activation across many marketing channels and products. He also served as a Director of Product & Engineering at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where he helped build and coach Agile teams and product initiatives for the PG&E web team (pge.com). Apart from his professional work, Javid is also an active angel investor, investing in 15-20 pre-seed and seed-stage startups per year. He is interested in a broad range of business models and industries, including SaaS, MarTech, analytics, marketplaces, AI/ML, clean/climate tech, moonshots, and more. Javid holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing a degree in Experimentation & Testing from Reforge, which is expected to be completed by December 2021.
