Javier Noris is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the early stage translational science sector. He is the Founder and VC at ScienceVest (YC F3), a pre-seed/seed stage fund for hard-tech and life science companies. Javier invests in companies that are crossing the "Valley of Death" and specializes in AI, robotics, synBio, medtech, diagnostics, therapeutics, among others. Javier is also the Global Venture Funding Lead for Deep Science Ventures, where he leads the Deep Science Venture portfolio in fundraising, corporate partnerships, and venture creation. He has an academic background in biotechnology and economics and is a self-taught software engineer. In a past life, Javier worked in India improving technical skills gaps and agricultural technology. He has also worked as a software engineer for various startups and large firms in Silicon Valley. Javier is the CEO/Founder of candidatefeed and serves on the Board of Directors for LEAF (Life Extension Advocacy Foundation). He manages the Longevity Investor Network and organizes the Ending Age-Related Diseases: Investment Prospects & Advances in Research yearly conference in NYC.
