Javith Ahamed is a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer and Software Developer with over 4 years of experience in the industry. He is an ambivert who is self-motivated and can easily adapt to a team. He is capable of taking on challenging tasks and has gained many experiences and skills, both individually and as a team in interpersonal and problem-solving. Currently, Javith is working as a DevOps Engineer at TCS, where he is responsible for performing regular builds and deployment of packages for testing in different environments in AWS cloud. He is also responsible for Jenkins plugin management, user management, Build/deploy setups, defining branching and merging strategies on GitHub, and using Maven to build jar and war artifacts. He has deployed features and configurations using Ansible and Ansible Playbooks and implemented the monitoring and alerting of production and corporate servers/storage using AWS CloudWatch and Prometheus Grafana. Javith also monitors and maintains containers and pods using OpenShift. Before joining TCS, Javith worked as a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra, where he worked closely with developers and testers to design and develop robust solutions to meet functionality, scalability, and performance. He developed Shell scripts and ran them to handle different server support, implemented AWS high-availability using AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), built automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins with GIT and GITHub as a source code management and Version control system, and orchestrated Docker container cluster using Kubernetes. Javith also participated in the entire application life cycle with a primary focus on coding and troubleshooting. Javith is a graduate of Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering. He has a strong TechStack, including DevOps, AWS, Software Engineer, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, test, SQL, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, and infra. In his spare time, Javith enjoys cycling, traveling, and exploring places on culture, climate, and food. He is also a content creator and executive at Vaergal-NGO.
