Jay B. is a full-stack developer with almost 6 years of relevant experience and a passion for innovation and scalability. He is currently working as a Frontend Developer at Razorpay, where he is developing a highly scalable application that can hold true to the notion of "Single Pane of Observability." Jay has extensive experience in both frontend and backend development. His frontend skills include React JS, Redux, Formik, Webpack, Rollup, Vanilla JS, CSS, HTML, GraphQL, and React Query. For backend development, he has worked with Node JS (Express, Koa, Fastify), Java, SpringBoot, and GraphQL. He is also proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases and has experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment. In his previous role as Software Engineer III at Walmart, Jay led the UI development of analytical views used at CXO level and set the standards, best practices, and UI architecture for the development approach. He also came up with the idea of a common library to tackle uniformity issues, thus saving development time, and developed services and GraphQL endpoints connecting to the database layer as per UI interactions ensuring authentication and RBAC validations. At HSBC, Jay was the lead frontend developer for the MyWorkspace application, which is being developed in a monorepo architecture inline with a Microfrontend architecture, providing the best user experience. He was also responsible for the development of the core application orchestrating the micro frontend and developed a department-level common React component library to ensure uniformity in design across different components and easy reusability. Additionally, he started with a PoC to make a product that caters to the HSBC Branches & Contact Centres HUB Agnostic, saving $750k per country. Jay holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information and Communication Technology (Minors in Computational Science) from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. He loves reading books, watching Robin Williams movies, and listening to John Mayer. He is also interested in football, Formula 1, UFC, and music.
