Jay Bitas, CDSP is a dedicated Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with a passion for combining technical expertise with ministry and spiritual calling to serve children and alleviate poverty in Jesus' name. He is currently employed with Compassion International, a Christ-centered organization that partners with churches around the world to deliver holistic child development programs. With over 18 years of relevant experience, Jay is skilled in scouring the internet and other platforms to identify global talents who share his vision and mission. Jay's past experience includes working with ap recruiters & associates as a Senior IT/Multi-Sectoral Sourcing Specialist and Senior Technical Recruiter/Sourcing Specialist. In these roles, he developed recruiting plans, identified qualified prospects, interviewed candidates, coordinated interviews, handled references and offer negotiations, and established compensation packages. He also prepared candidates for resignation and counselled them on the disadvantages of accepting a counter offer. Jay's education history includes a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of the Philippines, a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from De La Salle University, a Postgraduate Degree in Theology/Theological Studies from San Carlos Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Philosophy from San Carlos Seminary. Jay is proficient in Search and is passionate about Christian careers, nonprofit careers, careers with purpose, child poverty alleviation, and Compassion International.
