Jay Gohil is a versatile and accomplished engineer with a wealth of experience in data science, software development, machine learning, web development, and cloud computing. He is a Certified Six Sigma Executive (CSSE) and has experience in management, finance, and public speaking. Jay is also an accomplished author and researcher, with one book and two book chapters, as well as four research papers and two conference papers to his name. He has worked as a research engineer at ISRO, Shuffle, Ryerson Uni., and Xero Tech, and as a software engineer at InfoPercept. He is currently an IRIS HEP Fellow at Princeton University, where he is extending features, including and rectifying the Boost-Histogram library, and working on improving performance, widening usability, easier readability, covering varied applications, and meticulous fine-tuning of functions. Jay is an active member of the tech community, with affiliations to GDSC, AWS, MLSA, IBM Z, and Binance. He has also been a mentor at SWOC Mentor and OpenCode '21 and has contributed to Shuffle, Upkey, TSF, Crio.do, AIESEC, and Encode. Jay's past experience includes serving as an AWS Community Builder (Machine Learning) at Amazon, where he had access to AWS product teams and information about new services and features. He has also worked as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he worked on detecting counterfeiting in the e-commerce industry using machine learning, data collection, literature review, model implementation, data analysis, and research paper writing. Jay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, where he graduated in 2019. He is a research scientist, data scientist, AI expert, product manager, AWS specialist, web developer, machine learning engineer, and software engineer. With 0.60 years of relevant experience, Jay is a highly skilled and motivated professional who is always eager to take on new challenges and push the boundaries of what is possible in his field.
