With a Master's degree in Computer Science and almost 8 years of relevant experience, Jay has worked extensively in the Health Care Domain, as well as the Data Analytics and Business Analytics Product Domain. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at eclinicalworks, Jay is responsible for developing modules for eClinicalWorks EMR and Patient Engagement products, such as Employer Portal, Patient Portal, Enterprise Patient Portal, and eEHX. He writes new code or enhancements with Spring, Java, and AngularJS, and handles tasks with Jira and code management with BitBucket. Jay has also developed and integrated Data Truncation framework for Enterprise Patient Portal module to improve usability, user experience, and prevent loss of data. Before joining eclinicalworks, Jay worked as a Software Developer at Elegant Microweb, where he added new major features to the company's robust Business Intelligence and Advance Data Analytics product. He worked with Java Spring framework to implement features like adding new data source profile and writing datasets or cube (Apache Spark) for data analytics. Jay also worked with Apache POI API to fetch and load data in Apache spark dataset, with customized worksheets and workbooks option, that can be served as a datasource to fetch data on a frequent basis. Jay's previous experience also includes working as a Software Engineer Intern at Allscripts, where he worked with C# programming to eliminate and resolve bugs on the service side and BackBone.js framework to solve bugs on the UI side. He also developed a configurable UI Automation tool in C# with windows form UI and XML to Automation Healthcare Applications and produces the results report. Jay holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kalol Institute of Technology and Research Center and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology.
