Jay Vyas is a skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at IBM Software Labs, he specializes in backend development with Java. A Computer Science graduate of 2018, Jay has a strong educational background from Shikshan Prasarak Mandalis Sir Parshurambhau College Arts, Science & Commerce Tilak Road Pune 30 and Kendriya Vidyalaya. Before joining IBM, Jay worked as a Software Engineer at Spanugo, where he was responsible for developing and enhancing REST APIs for different validation pages. He also worked on bug fixes encountered in production and staging environments and developed and enhanced different tools such as CIS data loader tool, Validation data comparator tool, and CVE data loader tool for getting, validating, and storing data in the database. Additionally, he was involved in the design and implementation of validation reports PDF using JasperReports and the implementation of Dashboard APIs. Jay also worked as a Java Intern at Innoviti, where he implemented automation for various types of transactions like Sale, Refund, Settlement, and EMI Sale, ensuring better stability of JPOS. He also implemented Autotester's entry mechanism from XML to Excel-based list of test cases, resulting in ease of use. Furthermore, he communicated Portal Automation with Autotester for Integration testing, performed Unit and Sanity tests for Autotester, and tested JPOS using Autotester.
