Jaya Srivatsa Chakravartula is a Mechanical Design Engineer with 2.36 years of experience in designing active parts for BLDC motors for automotive applications. Currently working at Bosch as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Jaya has experience in working on rotor and stator design topics for various motors including Wiper Motors, ABS ESP Motor, E Compressor, PCE and PDE coolant pump motor, IPB2, IB3, and EDS Motors. Jaya is well-versed in 3D modeling in NX and creation of drawings. She has also created automation CAD tools using user-defined expressions and has good knowledge of PDM - SAP Production, creating bill of materials, and releasing them for sample productions. Jaya has trained colleagues in SAP P79 Production and has knowledge of GD&T and 1D, 3D stackup analysis. Jaya has executed 1D stackup analysis for an Ebike Battery pack to find tolerances between the battery pack and connector and has executed 3D stackup analysis for a Wiper Assembly for Volvo and Stellantis to find play of pivot shaft and tolerance between fixing points respectively. She has knowledge of finite elemental analysis and analysis software such as ANSYS Workbench and Unigraphics Simulation. Jaya has experience in interaction with counterparts in Germany and has worked on design and development of test benches. She has also worked as a Summer Intern at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited in the department of Roll Shop and Repair Shop, understanding the requirement and method of machining and notching rolls for steel bars and CNC basics in the rolls machining process. Jaya is currently pursuing an M.Tech in Automotive Engineering from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Avanthi Institute of Engineering & Technology. She also holds a degree in Intermediate (10+2) from Sri Gayathri Junior College and SSC from Visakha Vimala Vidyalayam Visakhapatnam and Pre School - 3rd Class from Florida Public School. Jaya's tech stack includes Spark and Test. She is passionate about career guidance and mentoring.
