Jaya Gupta is a Senior Software Test Engineer at Qualitest with over 7 years of relevant experience in the industry. She has a strong background in test automation, functional testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and sanity testing. Jaya has worked on various tools such as Jira, Redmine, SQL, POSTMAN, and Selenium. In her current role at Qualitest, Jaya is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. She is skilled in test planning and API testing with the help of POSTMAN tool. She is also experienced in fetching SQL queries and writing bug reports, test cases, and test scenarios. Prior to joining Qualitest, Jaya worked as a Software Tester at Rosmerta Technologies Ltd. and as a Quality Analyst at KGL Impex Pvt Ltd. At Rosmerta Technologies Ltd., Jaya's role was to perform automation testing using Selenium and functional testing, while at KGL Impex Pvt Ltd, she was responsible for performing API testing with the help of POSTMAN tool. She was also a part of daily standup meetings, review meetings, retrospective meetings, and sprint meetings. Jaya holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Hindustan Institute of Technology & Management. She also completed her 12th from Agra Public School, where she studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Jaya's technical skills include test, SDET, SQL, and Selenium. She is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
