Jayabrata Saha is an experienced Enterprise Architect with over 20 years of relevant experience in the field of IoT and Smart Cities. He is currently working as an Enterprise Architect - Principal Software Engineer for IoT & Smart City Apps at Wipro. Jayabrata has a strong background in crafting and developing software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics using the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies, and partnerships. He has experience in the development of Smart Cities ICCC applications, integration with GIS maps, ERP, CRM, field systems like VMS, Video analytics, Utilities metering software / AMI, traffic management, fleet management, Access control, lighting management systems, BMS, etc. He specializes in designing and deploying edge applications for data acquisitions, analytics, and control such as Video Analytics, sensors, controllers, alarm management, access control, etc. He creates Solution Architectures, Deployment Architectures, DFDs, UMLs, Integration Methodologies, Database Designs, Data Lake Designs, HLDs, LLDs. Jayabrata also has experience in defining and developing Data Lake for storing and processing structured and un-structured data. Jayabrata has expertise in API development and management with IoT platforms and industry tools like KONG, WSO2, 3SCALE, etc. He is also involved in doing POCs (performance optimizations, integration methodologies, new Use Case developments, etc.) on IoT Use cases using different IoT platforms and hand it over to Delivery team. He works closely with Wipro IoT Leadership team on different roadmaps and various stakeholders across different geographies to drive the development and execution of multiple designs and product engineering in parallel. Jayabrata has worked with Infosys as a Technical Architect and TCS as a Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering & Management, Kolaghat. He also has a Higher Secondary Examination degree from South Point High School, Kolkata, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Statistics as his field of study.
