Jayant Rai is a seasoned Sr System SQA Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently employed at Nvidia, where he is responsible for the Quality Assurance of Jetson Platform IOT edge platform, which is used by many data scientists across the world. Jayant is also involved in the verification and validation of system software features and resolving customer queries. Jayant has hands-on experience working with Python, Linux, Cluster Servers, Nvidia Jetson, ELK, Docker, Virtualization, and Computer Vision. He has expertise in designing and developing automation frameworks and has worked with the Robot Framework. Jayant has also worked with high availability products like Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), SFHA, SFCFSHA, and VMware Virtualization, ESXi, VCenter Server. He has experience with disaster recovery products like GCO and replication products like Veritas volume replicator (VVR). In his current role, Jayant works on the verification of computer vision library VPI (Vision programming interface) and hardware accelerated API verification on different computer vision algorithms. He also works on test automation using Python framework. Before joining Nvidia, Jayant worked at Veritas as an Associate SQA Engineer, where he worked on automation of the test cases using Python and Vmware Virtualization Administration. He also created customer alike use cases to validate the product and has knowledge of storage and high availability clustering. Jayant has experience in functional testing, regression testing, and knowledge of test case automation in both CLI and UI used (Python, Selenium, Java). Jayant holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from RGPV. He also completed his High School education in Mathematics and Computer Science from St John's School. Jayant has a strong technical skill set that includes Computer Vision, Python, Docker, Selenium, SDET, QA, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, AI, OpenCV, and UI. He is a highly motivated individual, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
