Jayanth Venkataraman is an experienced Software Engineer with close to 6 years of experience in building scalable distributed applications. He has significant experience in building scalable products for both enterprise (B2B) and consumer-facing apps (B2C) with a strong background in algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving. Jayanth has worked with multiple application programming/scripting languages and databases, including Python, GoLang, Java, C++, Lua, Shell Script, HTML, Javascript, AngularJS, CSS, PHP, and MySQL. Jayanth has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Grab and Grab Financial Group, where he has led the launch for Offline Payment Acceptance (Pay using QR Code Scan) in Indonesia from the Merchant Platform side and architected and built a regional API Gateway for entire Grab Financial Group (GFG) from scratch. Jayanth holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and has completed his schooling from Sri Sankara Vidyalaya, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, and Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School.
