Jayapriya Pai is an Observability Engineer at Red Hat with a passion for computer science, problem-solving, and automating boring jobs. She is an automation-obsessed developer who strives to automate all repetitive manual tasks that come her way. Jayapriya has a cross-functional background working in Quality Engineering, System Engineering, and now Software Engineering. She has a good understanding of production operations for SaaS products and enjoys debugging and troubleshooting issues in distributed systems. Jayapriya's current focus is on Kubernetes native development using Go. She is currently part of the OpenShift Monitoring team at Red Hat, focusing on In-cluster monitoring stack. Besides programming, Jayapriya is also an active blogger, and she has conducted cloud training on Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, and has conducted Docker workshop as part of IEEE Kerala Subsection. Jayapriya holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer and Information Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. She has also completed several certifications and courses in Cloud, Containers, Kubernetes, Programming, Full Stack Web Development, Linux, and Data Science. With 8.87 years of relevant experience, Jayapriya is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, Software Engineering, Docker, Ruby, Java, AWS, Web, Ansible, Terraform, New Relic, Selenium, Javascript, Hadoop, Jenkins, Integration, and Infra.
