Jayasri Angara is an Assistant Professor at GITAM University with over 21 years of experience in Industry, Academics, and Research. She specializes in Software Project Management, Software Engineering, and DBMS areas and has worked with world-renowned software companies like Microsoft, HP, and Nortel. Her research work includes an extensive risk-mitigating framework for continuous testing using DevOps, which was supported by the industry. She is also passionate about teaching and has experience in mentoring and counseling students towards a coding mindset and design thinking. She teaches various programming languages like Python, Object-Oriented Programming through Java, C++, and subjects like DBMS, MFCS, Design Thinking, etc. Prior to her current role, Jayasri worked with Wipro Technologies as a Project Manager for more than 9 years. She was part of one of the world's largest software products belonging to Large ISV, which is expected to be used by 360 million users worldwide. She also had the opportunity to work for Windows OS (all versions till XP) from a Project Management Perspective. She has trained campus joiners and designed training material as part of Industry-Institution Bridging skill gaps. Jayasri has participated in various paper presentations, technical forums, and contributed to organization-wide research initiatives. She received the best presentation from Wipro Chief Technology Officer and is a certified Project Manager (PM Academy Member). She has published articles in international conferences and impact factor journals. Jayasri holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from K L University, an M.S. in Software Engineering from BITS Pilani, and a BTech in CSSE from Andhra University (GITAM). She has also completed her Intermediate in MPC from BVK College, Visakhapatnam. Her tech stack includes skills like test, research scientist, product manager, DevOps, Python, and Java.
