Jayendra Sharan is a highly experienced Lead Frontend Developer with over 10 years of experience in building scalable and efficient web applications with reusable front-end abstractions. He has a clear understanding of React JS and has extensive experience building reusable React component libraries. Jayendra has worked closely with Product Owners and Design Teams to understand and translate features into a great User Experience. He has a strong understanding of Functional and Reactive Programming and prioritizes code reviews, team collaboration, clear communication, unit testing, and following best practices while exploring all the latest features of JavaScript. Currently, Jayendra works as a Lead UI Engineer at zeotap where he leads a team of front-end developers while also working as an individual contributor to improve and enhance the code quality and user experience. He communicates with Product Owners and Design Teams to gather requirements and allocate the right resources. Prior to his current role, Jayendra worked as a Lead Software Engineer at sureify where he managed the entire front-end stack of the product and led teams of frontend developers of mixed experiences. He designed and executed training programs for interns and freshers, created frontend team-related processes and documentations, and was responsible for the feature/module deliveries of the product. Jayendra also collaborated with the Design Team to improve UI/UX of the product and was responsible for taking care of key metrics of the scalable applications like performance and accessibility. Jayendra also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at mangoapps where he was an individual contributor in multiple features and product teams. He was responsible for developing features and interacting with clients and handling priority issues. He also led a team of 4-6 developers for a brief period of time depending on feature and requirements. Jayendra holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Biju Patnaik University of Technology. He is proficient in UI, Frontend, Javascript, ReactJS, Web, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, test, Redux, and AngularJS. Jayendra is an excellent communicator and is highly skilled in preparing documentations. He has relevant experience of 10.70 years and has worked in an Agile-driven environment to effectively maintain project timelines and utilize available resources.
