Jayesh Patel is a highly experienced Engineer with a strong background in distributed application development and complex architecture. He has extensive experience in designing and developing Azure IoT solutions with distributed architecture, as well as hands-on experience with edge computing, distributed messaging frameworks, orchestrators (Kubernetes/Service Fabric), NO SQL, and other service offerings. Jayesh has designed and implemented high-scale device simulation tools to simulate one million requests from a single box to the cloud solution and scale out as needed. He has also improved the performance of systems to handle millions of requests, with response times improving from 40 seconds to 2 seconds. Jayesh is proficient in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms, and has designed and developed microservices on Docker containers using Service Fabric as an orchestrator. Currently working as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, Jayesh has previously worked at ServiceNow as a Senior Software Engineer and at Microsoft as an Engineer. At Microsoft, he worked on one of the largest and most complex IoT solutions that the company was building. His main responsibilities included end-to-end feature design, development, testing, and documentation, as well as monitoring the system post-release and handling design changes. Jayesh holds a Btech degree from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and completed his metriculation from Little Flower School, Balangir. His tech stack includes software engineering, SQL, microservices, Azure, test, Kubernetes, Docker, and integration.
