Jayson Mathew is a skilled DevOps engineer with over 6 years of hands-on experience in architecting, automating and optimizing mission-critical deployments over large infrastructure leveraging On-prem as well as cloud. He is proficient with version control systems, CICD tools for pipelining, containerization, container orchestration tools, and configuration management tools. He is currently working as a Senior Technical Lead | DevOps at ey technology solutions, where he is leading two projects - Cloud Governance Framework and Nexus for Banking. In his previous role as a Senior Service Operations Engineer | DevOps at Planful, Jayson implemented Docker images for the EPM applications and maintained them in a docker private registry for deployment activities. He implemented high availability Kubernetes master server setup for the applications with the help of kubespray functioning without any downtime. He developed a challenging engineering project with the Kubernetes cluster by using the Kubernetes jobs for serving client requests based on priority through the EPM applications without wasting any node resources in clusters. Jayson also has experience working as a Senior Applications Engineer | DevOps at Oracle, where he analyzed, troubleshooted, and debugged java scripts for commercial or end-user applications. He developed, maintained, and instrumented automation tools in Linux/Unix bash scripting for Oracle sales cloud fleet applications. He has expertise in writing server automations, applications audit scripts for analyzing the application issues/discrepancy by executing it in Oracle cloud fleet wide. He has strong analytical skills in debugging the application discrepancies such as OOM, heap size, Stuck thread through JFR (Java Flight Recorder) and coordinating with the development teams for prompt fixes. He also has experience in the deployments of fusion CRM applications frameworks deployments (MDS, DML) in pods as well as in Oracle SQL databases and managing them.
