Jazz Cannon is an accomplished Director of Development with over 16 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, grant development, and proposal writing. Currently, she holds the position of Director of Development at Danita's Children, where she is responsible for overseeing and implementing all fundraising activities, annual giving, capital campaigns, and other general fund-raising activities. Jazz has a proven track record of developing successful fundraising campaigns and increasing organizational funding. Prior to her current role, Jazz worked as a Digital Marketing Director & Fundraising Developer at Paula White Ministries Worldwide, where she specialized in the standard development of fundraising campaigns utilizing all aspects of multi-media print and digital marketing collateral. She was responsible for all print, digital, and video promotional collateral and marketing materials for Paula White Ministries Television Worldwide, managing all online marketing, social media, and website staff. Jazz led the relaunch and multi-media marketing of Paula Live TV and the new launch of Paula White Lifestyle Channel, creating new multi-million-dollar streams of ministry funding. She also worked closely with the White House Public relations staff to promote charitable causes via Paula White Ministries. Jazz also served as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at The Melrose Management Corporation, where she was responsible for brand protection, recognition, and promotion for the 8 subsidiaries of the Melrose Corporation. She spearheaded an omni-channel campaign for a new business franchise opportunity and provided guidance to the marketing team in planning and executing customer acquisition campaigns across key acquisition channels. Jazz holds a degree in Non-Profit Immigration Resettlement Practitioner 1 & 2 from the University of Calgary, where she majored in Multi-Cultural Studies. She also completed General Pre-Requisite Studies from Chinook College. Jazz has a strong tech stack, including skills in web development, research science, and frontend development.
