JB Boin is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer currently working with CrowdAI. With a background in Electrical Engineering, JB has a wealth of experience in the field of ML, having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Before joining CrowdAI, JB worked as an Intern with Google, where he was a part of the Mobile Vision research team. During his time there, he worked on enhancing existing systems for multi-object tracking and integration. He also worked as an Intern with STMicroelectronics, where he was part of a research team that specialized in radiation-hardened and ultra-low voltage hardware design. Here, he participated in a project aimed at reinforcing a microprocessor to make it more resilient to errors. He also elaborated and implemented a robust custom test protocol to be run on the microprocessors. JB is a highly educated individual, having earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2019. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, which he earned in 2014. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from École Polytechnique in 2012. JB's technical skill set includes ML, Research Scientist, Integration, Mobile, and test. With almost four years of relevant experience, he has honed his skills in these areas and has become an expert in his field.
