Jean-Jules Bigeard is a passionate Machine Learning / Computer Vision Software Engineer currently working at SquareMind. He completed his MSc from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and then went on to do a one-year post-master's program with a focus on Machine Learning at Télécom Paris. Jean-Jules has gained valuable experience in the field of computer vision through his six-month internship at Neato Robotics, where he was in charge of building a "type of floor" detector for the new generation of robots, using Time of Flight (ToF) cameras. He has also worked on various issues related to ToF cameras, such as calibration, test design, and object detection. At his current company, Sodilec TP, Jean-Jules is working as an Information System Intern, where he is responsible for inventorying the general situation in relation to the new European General Data Protection Regulation. He is also involved in the implementation of new processes and reorganization of the information system. In his previous role at SquareMind, Jean-Jules worked as a Machine Learning / Computer Vision Software Engineer, where he was involved in developing a disruptive solution for oncology purposes. He has a keen interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence and has gained proficiency in Computer Vision, ML, Software Engineering, Object Detection, and Test. Jean-Jules has a strong academic background, having completed his preparatory classes in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Lycée Clemenceau. He is a quick learner and has a relevant experience of 3.20 years in the field of Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
