Jeevan Sirela is an accomplished Senior Software Developer with 4 years of experience leading projects as an architect, developer, and DevOps Engineer. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at loco - India's largest interactive gameshow app. Jeevan has designed, developed, and scaled many backend microservices such as social, streaks, and coins. In his current role, Jeevan has developed the in-game currency service using Node with 7.5M real-time transactions/Min using Tarantool as an In-Memory Database. He has also developed the User Streaks Service based on Event-driven Architecture, events received from CleverTap, using Golang with extensive usage of buffered Channels and Amazon SQS. Additionally, Jeevan has developed the In-App Social Network service in Django with Dynamo as DB, which was later migrated to Node. He has implemented sharding of Tarantool database using routers and storages, and wrote Lua UDF's in it to optimize batch operations.
