Jeff Peng is a highly experienced engineering manager with a passion for building high-quality products. With over 15 years of relevant experience, Jeff has led strong teams at Facebook, LinkedIn, and Microsoft, and is currently leading the Ecosystem Engineering Group at Facebook. In this role, he manages three teams responsible for Facebook notifications product infrastructure, notifications clients for various platforms, and a machine learning team for new product initiatives. Prior to his current role, Jeff served as an Engineering Manager at LinkedIn, where he managed the LinkedIn Profile Core team and built LinkedIn Profile backend services and frontend products on iOS, Android, and the web. He also worked as a Senior Software Development Lead at Microsoft, where he managed the Windows + Android Health app development team and fully owned the development, testing, and release of the Microsoft Health Android app, Universal Windows app, and the legacy desktop client program. Jeff has also been involved in cross-platform development on UWP and Android, integration with mobile OSes including voice recognition and calendar sync, and external partnerships with athletic service providers. Jeff holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University. His tech stack includes expertise in senior software engineering, machine learning, mobile and web infrastructure, Android and iOS development, frontend and backend development, software testing, and integration. Currently, Jeff is hiring for a ML Engineering Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as senior mobile, infra, and ML engineers in New York, Menlo Park, and Seattle.
