Jeff Shinn is a seasoned DevOps Engineer with over 17 years of relevant experience in project planning, relationship management, business analysis, design, development, standard operating procedures, deployment, maintenance, production support, performance management, business continuity, documentation, technical evaluation and research, training and mentoring. He is currently working with Free Chapel as a DevOps Engineer, where he is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, implementing automation and scripting solutions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's software systems. Jeff has a strong technical background in UNIX/Linux Development, Scripting and Automation, Ruby on RAILS Development, PHP Development (Laravel), and JavaScript Development (node.js, Ext JS, Vue.js). He has worked with a variety of companies in the past, including Free Chapel and SupplyDirect Inc., where he was responsible for Engineering Online eCommerce presence using Magento Enterprise Edition, managing and maintaining 50+ websites, and providing multi-tier support for internal IT problems and occurrences. Jeff holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering Technology program with an emphasis in networking and microprocessors from Devry University and an AAE in English and Literature from Missouri Southern State University. He is proficient in various tech stacks, including DevOps, Javascript, AWS, Ruby, Research Scientist, PHP, Web, Software Engineer, Integration, NodeJS, VueJS, and UI.
