Jeffrey Dinakar is an Assistant Program Engineering Manager at General Motors, where he is responsible for the rollout, integration, and execution of Super Cruise and other Automated Driving/Active Safety (ADAS) features on future GM vehicles. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. With over six years of relevant experience, Jeffrey is passionate about the future of mobility and is currently working on the integration of Super Cruise, General Motors' handsfree driving technology for highway usage. He is also coordinating cross-functionally with Design, Development, Validation, Purchasing, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure maximum quality and performance at key milestones for various new product launches. Jeffrey has previously worked as a Software IRT Co-Chair, where he supported the launch of the 2020 Corvette at Bowling Green Assembly, representing the Product Development Team. He was responsible for all vehicle Electronic Control Units and the launch of the Vehicle Intelligence Platform (VIP) electrical architecture. He has also worked as a Controller Integration Engineer, where he integrated Autonomous Driving and Active Safety (ADAS) controller module with vehicle cameras, radars, and other control modules over CAN bus to verify transmission of sensor data and actuation requests. Jeffrey's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Purdue University. With a tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer and Integration, Jeffrey is a highly skilled professional with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.
