Jeffrey Wear is a Full-stack software engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in iOS and front and backend web development. He is currently working as a Watch Frameworks Engineer at Apple, where he is responsible for 1st-party and 3rd-party UI frameworks and system UI on Apple Watch. Jeffrey has a diverse set of skills and has worked with various technologies such as JavaScript, Node, Redis, Mongo, Electron, iOS, Cocoa Touch, and Objective-C. He has experience leading teams, coaching senior engineers, and managing intern and new grad programs. Prior to joining Apple, Jeffrey worked at Mixmax as a Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager. As a Staff Software Engineer, he developed a process for analyzing and prioritizing the impact of features and bug fixes toward renewals, resulting in $181k recurring revenue saved within the first 3 months. He also coached other team leads through biweekly sync to discuss how they could better support stakeholders and teammates. As an Engineering Manager, he supervised the development of an automated coding challenge that allowed the company to review over 2000 interns and new grads in Fall 2018.
