Jehu Shalom Amanna is a skilled software craftsman with a passion for communicating with humans through code. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where he continues to hone his skills in JavaScript and ReactJS. With almost 6 years of relevant experience, Jehu has worked on a variety of projects that have allowed him to develop a diverse skill set. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jehu worked at Ford Pro Charging as a Member of Technical Staff 2, where he was responsible for building email and push notifications and reporting modules using NodeJS, NestJS, and MongoDB technologies. He delivered millions of charge history records' reports to users, which helped power electric fleets with managed solutions. Jehu also worked as an Associate Software Developer at Niveus Solutions, where he built a customizable dashboard using ReactJS consisting of more than 40 widgets and reports for India's largest private sector bank. He revamped the codebase, which was severely impacted by regressional bugs and resistance to changes, resulting in a significant improvement in performance and developer productivity. He also worked on another project for the same bank, building a frontend for tracking the entire end of physical assets. Jehu's education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. He has a strong tech stack, including ReactJS, JavaScript, MongoDB, TypeScript, Redux, and more. He is a skilled frontend and backend developer with expertise in UI and testing.
