Jenna Yi is an experienced software engineering manager with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. She is currently working at Apple as a Software Engineer and is responsible for building and designing technical solutions for faster and simpler partner onboarding. Jenna is also the engineering lead for the card creation feature for Apple Pay Transit in China (Beijing and Shanghai) and was a core engineer from day 1 to post-launch on the Apple Cash product. She helped launch Apple Pay in Japan, including new payment networks and Suica transit system. Jenna works cross-functionally and internationally throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, data science, operations, legal, security, program office, business, and product owners. Jenna has a strong technical background and has experience in architecting and implementing (Java/Spring/Maven) scalable and performant web services and APIs while focusing on user privacy and security. She has previously worked at Lumos Labs (Lumosity) as a Mobile Engineering Intern (iOS), where she localized and launched the Lumosity iOS app into German to expand the app's international markets. Jenna also created the Lumosity Widget that allows game favoriting and direct game play. She has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Apple, where she developed a proof of concept of an extension of the Apple Store App (iOS). Jenna holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
