Jennie Ohyoung is a seasoned Venture Capital Investor with a passion for transformative technology. She is currently an Investor at Vu Venture Partners, a multi-stage investment fund focused on Frontier, Consumer, Enterprise, Fintech, Healthcare, and PropTech. Jennie is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, developing investment theses, conducting deep due diligence, and presenting top investment opportunities to the weekly Partners Meetings and Investment Committees. She works closely with the General Partners, who have over 45 years of VC experience and have invested in 10+ unicorns such as Beyond Meat, Uber, Facebook, Twitter, Wish, Oculus, Oscar, etc. Jennie has a diverse background that includes experience as a Business Owner at Rocco Family Realty LLC and a Project Team Lead at Windstory LLC. At Windstory LLC, she defined project scope, identified roles and necessary skills required for successful implementation of video database projects for the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press in China. She also coordinated IT stakeholders in workflow development and in suitable software testing, tracked project progress on a weekly basis to verify milestones, and ensured the quality of project deliverables. Jennie is a lifelong learner with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the University of California and has completed several courses in Strategy Execution, Business Solution Development and Delivery, Creating Executable Business Strategies, China Strategy, Disruptive Strategy, and Computer Software Engineering from Harvard Business School Online, Stanford University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
