Jennifer Evenson is a Site Reliability Engineer with an MBA at Adobe, where she develops custom operations tools in Python/Django/Prefect in a CENTOS 7/MariaDB environment. She is responsible for ensuring high availability of approximately 45K servers by participating in the team's on-call rotation. Jennifer uses in-house tools to ensure performance of a product used by most of the highest traffic websites in the world and performs standard sysadmin tasks such as fixing production server issues and kicking servers. Before her current role at Adobe, Jennifer worked as a Financial Management Analyst at Wittenberg Weiner Consulting, LLC, where she managed, oversaw, and supported the Government Travel Charge Card program for 226 travelers. She also checked users' travel authorizations and vouchers for accuracy before submission as a Defense Travel Administrator and ensured day-to-day travel processes and procedures were in accordance with government regulations. Jennifer also worked as a management analyst at NAVSUP (Naval Supply Systems Command) Fleet Logistic Center. Jennifer has also volunteered as a Webmaster at Rota Animal Welfare League (R.A.W.L.), where she designed, set up, and managed a self-hosted Wordpress site with 15 static pages and posts using Customizr theme (slightly customized with a "Child Theme") with Search & Filter plugin to facilitate finding adoptable animals (posts) based on type/gender/age. She kept Wordpress and plug-ins up to date, including monitoring security logs and blocking hosts as needed. Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Santa Clara University, where she studied Leading People & Organizations, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing Management. She also holds a Certificate in Fullstack Javascript Web Development from V School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
