Jennifer Garcia is a talented artist who has recently transitioned to a software engineering role. With a passion for video games and creativity, Jennifer graduated from art school with three VR experiences created using Unity. Along the way to becoming a technical artist, Jennifer developed a passion for programming and brought a lifetime of creating to software development. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Twitter, Jennifer has gained over 3 years of relevant experience in the industry. Prior to joining Twitter, Jennifer worked as a Frontend Developer at GetInsured, where she troubleshooted and fixed bugs in collaboration with backend engineers. She also owned projects in the code base and delegated tasks when needed to ensure code was shipped on time and of high quality. At GroupMuse, Jennifer worked as a Software Engineer Intern, where she engineered customer-facing screens in React Native and Redux. She also organized the Detox file to enhance readability and created and implemented a master list of all major features and tasks to test functionality in Detox. Jennifer's education history includes a Full Stack Software Engineer degree from Rithm School, a Certificate in C++ from City College of San Francisco, and a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. Jennifer's technical skills include Software Engineering, Frontend and Backend development, testing, React Native, and Redux. With a strong passion for creativity and programming, Jennifer is currently seeking new opportunities and experiences in the software engineering industry.
