Prior to his current role, Jeremy has worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Commonstock, where he developed a news content microservice in Golang to scrape, process, and store 10-100k news articles per day in Postgresql and expose over API. He also deployed a monitoring solution using Netdata and Docker to track job error rate and request latency, enabling sub 200ms latency targets for all services. Furthermore, he implemented cryptocurrency streaming for a Python market data platform and real-time alerts in Golang to ensure data integrity of vital cryptocurrency data and address critical data delays. Jeremy has also worked as a Software Engineer at Square, where he designed and developed a query usage reporting tool for 10,000+ big data tables supporting 100,000+ queries using ReactJS, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Airflow ETLs (Python). He developed a data pipeline to ingest 1000's of OLTP tables containing up to billions of records each into Snowflake cloud analytics database using Ruby on Rails and Google Cloud Platform.
