Jeremy Wong is a passionate developer with over 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering. He is currently working as a Senior Lead Front-End Developer at Clear Labs, where he manages a development team to successfully ship products from scope and estimate to meeting deadlines. Jeremy's journey as a web developer began when he quit his job as a medical device engineer to pursue his passion for crafting software solutions. He believes in the concept of a beginner's mind and is always open to new and radical ideas. Through his experience in Dev Bootcamp, he found himself making things again and fell in love with the feeling of creating something from scratch. He is a team player who understands the importance of communication and working well with others. Being a kind person, he can tell others they are doing a great job or they need to work on something without sugar coating it. He has been working on his communication skills while being team lead on his projects. Jeremy's past experience includes working as a Lead Front-End Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Clear Labs. He has expertise in technologies such as React, Docker, GCP, GraphQL, Redux, Redux-Form, React-Final-Form, d3, Webpack, jest, and testing-library. He also has experience in principles such as Atomic Design, Emphasis on Testing and Robustness, Domain Driven Design, Data Visualization, and Design Systems. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and has also studied Engineering at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. His tech stack includes Frontend, Web, test, Redux, Docker, GCP, and Software Engineer. Jeremy is not currently looking for any engineering positions but is available for speaking opportunities. He is a passionate developer who loves to create and believes in the power of a beginner's mind.
