Jeric Hunter is a motivated and grateful Software Engineer at Microsoft, with over 2 years of relevant experience in the field. He currently works on building SDKs and framework connectors for Cosmos DB, helping both internal and external customers efficiently use the database to store and retrieve information. Jeric is passionate about empowering customers to achieve more through his work. In his previous role at Microsoft, Jeric created a design document and planned a project to create an npm extension for the vscode-mssql extension. Using Angular and Typescript, he implemented components of the Connection Dialog extension and created a self-sufficient Connection Dialog in Azure Data Studio. This allowed it to be leveraged in the implementation for the VS Code version. Before joining Microsoft, Jeric worked as a Student Ambassador/Enrollment Assistant at Make School, where he helped the admissions team handle student documents and guided students through the admissions process via email. Jeric holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Dominican University of California, which he completed in 2021. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Typescript, MSSQL, Azure, and AngularJS. Jeric is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about his work and strives to empower customers to achieve more.
