Jerrick Hoang is a highly experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer II at Cruise, where he works at the forefront of Prediction and Planning for Autonomous Vehicles. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Jerrick has a deep understanding of the latest machine learning techniques and their applications in the field of autonomous vehicles. Prior to his current role, Jerrick worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Aurora, where he was a part of the Behavior Prediction group in the Motion Planning team. Here, he worked on high-level maneuver planning for autonomous vehicles. He has also worked at Uber Advanced Technologies Group as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where he was part of the Autonomy group and worked on predicting the environment, including intentions, interactions, and trajectories of all actors. Jerrick completed his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bowdoin College and Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. He also holds a Master's degree in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University. Jerrick's technical expertise lies in Machine Learning, and he is well-versed in the latest tools and technologies related to the field.
