Jessica Patwa is a Software Engineer at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field. She is passionate about continuously enhancing her knowledge, skills, and experience by getting involved in challenging work environments and utilizing them for personal and organizational growth to the best of her ability. At UOB, Jessica is part of the Public Web (PWEB) Web Content Management (WCM) / Web Site Management (WSM) Team. Her work involves revamping and enhancing UOB web pages and forms as per user requirements. She has also worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Optimum Solutions, where she was trained to strengthen her knowledge in Core Java, OOPs Fundamentals, web development skills, and Agile Development. During her training period, she practiced agile methodologies throughout the training period like Daily Standup/Sprint Planning/Review meetings. She also grasped knowledge on Java memory management, brushed up hands-on SQL queries, introduced to working with remote repositories on GitHub and used Outlook for training e-mails. Jessica has also worked as a Summer Intern at Excelok Technologies Pte. Ltd., Singapore. During her internship, she was introduced to various products which are manufactured by the firm to serve top clients in oil and gas industries. She voluntarily researched the functional use and working behind most products via product manuals and live display. She also researched in-depth the functioning of electronics products like Turbine Flow Meter and Serial & Ethernet Communication. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Technology - B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. She also holds an All India Senior Certificate Examination in Computer Science and a Secondary School Exam from Global Indian International School, Singapore. Jessica’s tech stack includes Software Engineering, Web, Java, SQL, and Javascript. She is a hardworking individual who is committed to delivering high-quality results and is always eager to learn and grow in her field.
