Jestin Roy is a dynamic and passionate Software Engineer with a keen interest in problem-solving and organizing. Jestin has experience working with various organizations, including Google Developers, where he served as a DSC Lead, and CodeChef MACE Chapter, where he worked as a Mentor. As a DSC Lead at Google Developers, Jestin was selected for a global team of 1300+ campus DSC leads to facilitate the MACE chapter of the Developer Student Club. He created a strategy and roadmap for membership growth and chapter events that increased DSC MACE's membership by 3000% with 10+ workshops in the Fall 2020 semester. Additionally, he initialized partnerships with SAE MACE Club and MACE Women Cell. Jestin's past experience includes working as a Web Development Intern at The Sparks Foundation and teaching Competitive Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, and C++ to students for MACE Coding League and Hosting Online Programming contests for CodeChef MACE Chapter. Jestin Roy has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, where he is currently pursuing his degree. He also has a background in Computer Science from Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi. Jestin's technical stack includes Web and Software Engineering, and he has relevant experience of 1.95 years. He is a quick learner and always eager to learn new things.
